Your team

As an AI Engineer (f/d/m), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering AI-powered features for our Review & Drafting Squad. Our B2B solutions are aimed at professionals working in law research and legal advising, and this squad focuses on capabilities for drafting, editing, and reviewing documents, and structured workflows with a strong emphasis on usability, reliability, and measurable impact. 

You will work closely with product, design, engineering, and domain experts to turn problem statements into production-ready AI features, including technical feasibility assessment, architecture decisions, implementation estimates, establishing robust evaluation, and designing reliable, scalable AI systems. 

You will join our Tech Team of around 32 people, including UI Engineers, UI Designers, AI Engineers, Data Engineers, as well as Fullstack, Backend, and DevOps Engineers. Within that team, you will help drive applied AI capabilities that improve how users review information, draft content, and work through complex legal tasks. 

The role reports directly to Felix, our VP of AI & Data Engineering, and he will guide you through your journey at Noxtua. With deep expertise in AI systems, Felix leads with a passion for innovation and a collaborative approach, ensuring every team member thrives.

About you

  • Experience: at least 2 years of professional experience in Software Development, building, and shipping generative AI solutions
  • Programming: Strong Python skills with experience in designing robust AI pipelines
  • Technical Expertise: Experience in building Agentic AI systems, including reasoning and LLM orchestration for dynamic query handling, PromptEngineering, and reasoning chain design (CoT, ReAct, structured prompting for multi-step reasoning). Familiarity with designing and implementing agent memory systems, including long-context and short-term memory management
  • Infrastructure: Familiarity with containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git)
  • Expertise in developing, deploying, and benchmarking NLP and generative AI models, building RAG systems, including adaptive retrieval strategies such as query rewriting, iterative retrieval, and self-reflective search refinement, is a bonus
  • Language: English proficiency at the C2 level.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain AI features from researching to building a POC and productionizing them
  • Assess the technical feasibility of customer Feature requests using AI solutions
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into well-architected, reliable software
  • Partner with the AI Core Team on adoption, ensuring an approach fits into the agentic system design
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Create measurements and evaluations for the accuracy of the model’s predictions
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt across the stack
