As a User Researcher (m/f/d) at Noxtua, you’ll contribute to growing and refining our user research practice by supporting ongoing projects and helping us continuously improve our understanding of user needs. Working closely with experienced researchers, designers, legal experts and product managers, you’ll help uncover insights that strengthen our Legal AI product and ensure it truly solves challenges faced by professionals in the legal industry. This is a collaborative role for someone eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact by contributing to data-driven product decisions. 

​YOUR TEAM
 
You’ll be part of the small research team within the cross-functional product team collaborating daily with engineers, product managers, and designers. Each of our development teams consists of 6–7 developers, a product manager, and a designer, who you’ll support through user research activities such as interviews, usability testing, and validating design concepts.

You will report to Lea, Senior User Researcher at Noxtua, who leads the research processes, strategy and studies for Noxtua, our European Legal AI solution. With extensive experience in user research and UX strategy, Lea is passionate about user-centric and data-driven development of digital products. She fosters a collaborative and agile work environment, ensuring that the right people and teams understand the user insights to realize the right ideas. Lea values ownership and innovation, making her an advocate for continuous improvement of existing processes to enhance user-centricity.

Your responsibilities

  • Identifyresearch needs with stakeholders and handledesign,planning,andconductionofdeep qualitative research studies (e.g. interviews, contextual observations, diary studies)as well asquantitative surveys.
  • Analyze user behaviour usinganalysismethodssuchasparametric/non-parametrictestingorsemantic analysis) andtoolsto derive actionable product recommendations.
  • Collaborate withfellow researchers,with product designers, engineers, product managers, and legal expertson research projectsor tovalidateideas and improve UX.
  • Createandcontribute toartifacts like personas, journey maps,our research insights databaseand reports.
  • Present insights clearly to stakeholders, advocate for users, andwork with andhelp improveourresearch frameworks.
  • Help define the strategic direction of our Legal AI by understanding and articulating what really matters to our users.

About you

  • Valid residence/ working permit for Germany
  • Fluent in German and English,additionallanguages are a plus.
  • 1+ years of user research experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or regulate dindustries (e.g., FinTech, LegalTech).
  • Degree in HCI, Psychology, Human Factors, or a related field.
  • Strong mixed‑methods skills (interviews, usability tests, surveys, analytics) and ability to turn data into clear user insights.
  • Familiar with tools like Figma/FigJam and experienced in collaborative, fast‑paced, iterative work environments. 
  • Good communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to guide teams through the research process.
  • Portfolio and experience in remote research is considered a plus
